Minutes from Nov 7, 2007  Meeting:

 

* Approve next year’s Neighborhood Matching Grant – Our priorities will remain mostly the same 1) Houghtdown  2) 4th of July parade  3)Website.  We will add more money for mailings and repair of our kiosk bench

 

* Start planning for next year. Specifically, how we can improve participation in the Comp Plan Neighborhood Plan update in 2008.

 

* Annual meeting date – February 6th.  This will be a kick off party for the Neighborhood Plan update to come in 2008.  We’ll try to get a City planner to come and explain the process to us so that we can all be prepared and make some effective updates to our Neighborhood Plan.

 

* Annexation - http://www.ci.kirkland.wa.us/depart/CMO/Annexation_Information.htm please continue to keep yourself informed and make your opinion known to the City Council.  They will be deciding in the next month whether or not to allow this to go to a vote to the annexation area residents.

 

* Kirkland Park Place and other PAR - http://www.ci.kirkland.wa.us/depart/Planning/Code_Updates/CPAs.htm and www.envisionkirklandparkplace.com are 2 places you can go to get information about these projects.  Or you can contact the senior planner for the projects Angela Ruggeri at 425-587-3256 or aruggeri@ci.kirkland.wa.us . She will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  This development is on a fast track so we will try our best to keep you updated and aware of opportunities to make your comments heard.
