Come help us celebrate 50 years of being a part of Kirkland. Bring your old photos (we'll have a scanner) and help us record Houghton's history. If you are new to Houghton, learn a little local history and meet your neighbors. This family friendly event will have games and of course, CAKE! The celebration will be held on Thursday July 12 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Fire Station 22 (6602 108th Avenue NE). Please share this invite with your friends and neighbors.
The agenda for the June 12, 2018 CHNA meeting is provided below. The below link can be used to download it. We will be discussing the final planning for the celebration of 50th anniversary of the merger of Houghton with the City of Kirkland. There are still opportunities for input and helping out in advance and at the event scheduled for 6:00 PM on July 12 at Fire Station 22. We also will provide updates on the safety projects, City Council discussion on Affordable Housing and Neighborhood Plans, and the Transit Implementation Plan. The end of the meeting will include discussing meeting topics for the remainder of 2018 and first half of 2019. We also will be providing a draft survey to check on how CHNA is doing in getting information out to the neighborhood and gathering input on other possible strategies to be more effective.
