Hought-Down is funded by Kirkland Neighborhood Grants and many volunteer hours. Each year the city of Kirkland provides funds to the individual neighborhood associations that can be used for community events, communications and operations, physical improvement projects, neighborhood identity projects, and/or leadership training and education.
Grant requests are due January 31, 2015 and the Central Houghton Neighborhood Association would like your ideas - time is short. Grant money must be matched by volunteer time.
